3 LUSH Products For Bleach-Damaged Blonde Hair

Despite being more-or-less a natural blonde, I still choose to bleach my hair to an almost white shade every couple of months. As I do it myself with box dyes, my hair can become very dry and brittle due to the bleach, although it hasn't actually snapped off just yet (fingers crossed.) I believe this is due to me taking good hair of my locks with various lotions and potions, and my absolute favourite brand for blonde hair care just has to be LUSH.

Marilyn Hot Oil Treatment

If you previously read my near-disastrous review of Marilyn, you might wonder why the hell I'm recommending this. Despite being terrified my hair was going to snap off (don't ask) the colour boost and gloss this hot oil treatment gave my hair was amazing. Since the initial review I have been using the left over mixture as a basic conditioner, and I'm loving the results. This is definitely one for blondes, just do not leave it on for longer than the recommended 20 minutes! Trust me on this one.

Daddy-O Shampoo

While I hate the violet scent, I can't deny that this shampoo does absolute wonders for reducing brassiness in blonde hair. I use this shampoo every other time I wash my hair and I can definitely tell the difference in colour on the days that I haven't used it. There's also a solid conditioner for blondes called Sugar Daddy-O, which I'm dying to try next.

H'Suan Wen Hua Hair Treatment

Oh how I love H'Suan! The 'God Of Hair' is my newest addiction - it puts so much moisture and softness back into my hair that I've started to use it at least once a week. I love how H'Suan really nourishes my bleached hair and leaves it feeling weightless and silky. The smell is a bit grim, but I can forgive it due to the great results.

How do you care for your bleach-damaged hair?

  1. I bleach my hair and it often feels dry and straw-like. I really need a proper moisturising conditioner for it ASAP.

  9. Too bad the shampoo has a violet scent. Is that an issue with the product itself as it has to have that scent, or just the particular one they gave it?
