6 Lazy Beauty Tips To Feel Gorgeous Every Day

In my opinion, Fridays suck. It's almost the weekend, but still not quite there yet. You have to somehow struggle through the whole day when all you want to do is skip to the good bit. On a Friday I can barely be bothered to brush my hair, and often sit at my desk looking bedraggled as I devour my 'Fat Friday' pizza, wishing that 5pm would come ASAP. On days like this, these lazy beauty tips are my absolute saviours.

Stock up on face masks.

I recently traded in five of my used LUSH pots for a fabulous Rosy Cheeks fresh face mask and I have been loving using it in the mornings to perk up my day before work. I simply slather a small amount on my problem areas (cheeks, nose, chin) then let it get to work whist I have my breakfast. I absolutely adore using face masks as they are such an easy and blissful way to brighten up your morning and make you feel instantly gorgeous.

Give yourself a beauty pep talk.

This is a sure-fire way to get yourself feeling utterly gorgeous again. Take a long look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself all the things you love about yourself. Whether it's your long eyelashes, your button nose, or even that your hair went right for a change, pick out all the little things that make you the truly magical unicorn that you are.

Get a good splash on.

The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning is wash my face as it instantly makes me feel pretty and clean. Splashing my face with cold water gives it a fresh and rosy glow that keeps my skin looking dewy all day. I am currently loving using the LUSH Honey I Washed The Kids soap as part of my morning routine.

Take some time out for yourself.

De-stressing is the easiest way to make yourself look considerably more gorgeous. Treat yourself to a hot bath after a long day and a couple of glossy magazines to read whilst you’re in there, your mind and body will thank you for it. For an added beauty bonus, toss in a LUSH bath bomb to keep you smelling and feeling beautiful.

Slick on some magic lip balm.

If you're feeling sleepy and a little down, nothing is more soothing than a lovely lip balm. I recently bought the gorgeous LUSH Honey Trap lip balm and I can't get over how tingly and awesome it is. To receive the same plumping, minty effect on the cheap, simply melt a little Vaseline and mix in some peppermint oil to create your own delicious lipgloss with a kick, easy peasy.

Spritz on your favourite perfume.

My favourite perfume is Classique Essence by Jean Paul Gaultier as it never fails to put a smile on my face. Whenever I wear it I always feel sexy and beautiful, so find yourself a perfume that does that same and make sure to spritz some on every day before leaving the house. A little extra tip is to spray perfume into wet hair as it's drying for a scent that lasts all day. You'll feel super glamorous every time you swish your hair.

What makes you feel beautiful?

  6. Love this! I really want to get into face masks because they seem sooooo relaxing - I really need to incorporate it into some sort of 'self care' routine! I had no idea Lush did a 'back to mac' sort of thing! I'm pretty sure I have 5 empties around so I should go along and get a mask! Completely agree on the perfume, when I'm feeling a bit crap I always put on my most expensive perfume so I can feel good again haha!
