BUT, because she is a sweetheart and a darling, look what she gave me! A fabulous mini Urban Decay Revolution high-colour lipgloss in the most gorgeous hot pink shade 'Scandal'. Almost leaping with excitement, I couldn't wait to get home and try it.
Just look at that sexy swatch. This is truly one of the most gorgeous colours I have ever come across and believe me, I am a lipstick and gloss addict. Having a fair complexion, I'm all blue eyes, blonde hair and rather pale skin, it's usually a little bit difficult to find lip colours that suit me. Scandal is very different to my usual mauves and dusky pinks, but after giving it a quick swipe on my lips I have no idea how I've gone so long without trying a colour like it!
The lipgloss itself is 1.7ml as it is a miniature/sample size. But as it often is with high-brand products, good things come in small packages. This is the most pigmented lipgloss I own, even more so than some of my lipsticks. The staying power is honestly unbelievable as one quick swipe before I left the house has lasted six hours and is still going strong, even after eating and drinking.
The lipgloss came in a cute booklet which details all the other colours available in the range. I'm so gad Miya chose Scandal for me, as I feel the only other colours that may have suited me are Failbait or Quiver, the rest would look seemingly out of place with my skintone.
I'm so glad I have such a great friend! If you would like to visit Miya's own blog, visit Media Anarchy, where she writes about her love for films, books and all things Marvel related. It's a refreshing change from my own girly little blog, so I would definitely recommend you check it out.
If like me your are becoming increasingly obsessed with this lipgloss, you can purchase it from Urban Decay for £15 here.
What's the nicest thing a friend has done for you?
And are you drooling over my lovely gift?
