*Updated* 2016 Beauty Wish List

Thursday, 25 February 2016
Hello lovelies! On Saturday I found myself in Meadowhall once again, lusting over the makeup displays in Debenhams and Boots. I usually have a list as long as my arm when it comes to makeup products I'm after, however whenever I actually have money I tend to spend it like water and not on specific things I want. Therefore, whilst wandering round the shops I decided to start noting down every product that caught my eye and spent some time trying to cut it down to a (hopefully) achievable wish list.

I've seen quite a few beauty bloggers share posts such as this, so I thought I'd join in with my own desires for 2016. I enjoy reading these type of posts and which products bloggers are lusting over, so I hope you lovelies enjoy it too.

Face and Skincare

- MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation in NW15
This foundation was recommended for me both on Twitter and in the store when I asked for a foundation with full coverage and a dewy look. I asked for a sample which I have used for the last three days, enough to tell me that I need this foundation in my life.

- Revolution Ultra Face Base Primer
After being compared to Smashbox's legendary primer, I feel this product would be amazing for getting luxury results at a budget price.

- Revolution Pro Fix Oil Control
A friend on Instagram stated that this setting spray was better than MAC's. I've never tried the MAC one, but the Revolution one is worth a try after this comparison.

- Benefit Porefessional Matte Rescue
A Benefit rep demonstrated this product for me on the back of my hand and I was amazed with how silky it was. I already own the original Porefessional and would love to add this to my beauty routine.

- Benefit Total Moisture
I received a sample for this at Christmas and absolutely fell in love with it. It's the only product I've found that hydrates the flaky skin on my nose and cheeks whilst smelling amazing and only needing a tiny amount for the desired results.

- Too Faced Born This Way Foundation in Pearl
So I absolutely adore a beauty vlogger called Nikkie Tutorials and this is the foundation that she uses most often. Like me, she has a naturally red face and undertones, so I aim to get the same amazing results she does with this foundation.

Eyes and Brows

- Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette
You must have had your head in the clouds if you haven't noticed by now that I am borderline obsessed with all eyeshadow palettes from Too Faced. This pallette is just so adore, I have no reason for buying it except that I WANT IT!

- Benefit They're Real! Push Up Liner
Already being a huge fan of They're Real! mascara and primer, I'm intrigued to try the slanted liquid eyeliner. After reading mixed reviews on this product, the only way to know for sure whether it's a keeper would be to try it myself.

- Benefit Gimme Brow
The lovely Benefit rep in Boots taught me how to use this product and was cute enough to do me a demonstration on my brows for free! The light/medium coloured Gimme Brow suited me really well and did wonders for my sparse brows, so I really want to get my hands on it.

- Urban Decay Primer Potion
I reviewed a small sample of this primer that I got here and now I am absolutely desperate to buy the full version after seeing the results.

- Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette
I genuinely don't think I can express just how much I want this palette. The shades, the scent, the reviews. I am so jealous of anyone who already owns this and I want it ASAP.

- Too Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly Palette Bought!
I think that palette sounds really intriguing, who'd have thought peanut butter could have inspired a whole eyeshadow palette? I am totally addicted to peanut butter myself, having it on toast for breakfast every morning, so I think this palette and I would be a good match.

Lips and Cheeks
- Benefit Watt's Up!
Having recently discovered a new love for highlighters, I would really love to try this one by Benefit. It looks relatively simple to use and after seeing other bloggers' results with it, I'm convinced I need it too.

- Benefit Dandelion Shy Beam
I am a HUGE fan of Benefit's Dandelion range so I am really excited to try this highlighter - It's released tomorrow!

- Revolution Fluid Blusher in Pink Dew
I have never tried a liquid or cream blusher before, and I think this is a truly gorgeous colour by the relatively new brand Makeup Revolution. It's only £3 from Superdrug, so I think it would be lovely to try.

- Lime Crime Velvetine in Polly
Oh Lime Crime, how I adore you. I recently reviewed the True Love set after choosing it over buying Polly, but now I feel I simply need to have both! Oops!

What's on your beauty wish lists for 2016?
Have you tried any of these products?

  3. I totally want to try Too Faced's foundation, too. I'm concerned because I have such sensitive skin but I've heard it's amazing.
